The old adage that the sum is greater than its parts holds true here in a big way. Tonbo's birth came from Anne & Bradshaw's commitment to green building and desire to let the land speak to the design.
Their green homes became a working model for Tonbo's creation, but the true breakthrough was the addition of architects B + O design studio and stormwater expert Redline Engineering, plus plenty of input from the NC State Environmental Engineering Department, NCSEA (North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association), and the many folks who were tapped for input.
